For the past twenty years, Carol Galanty has been using the beautiful environment of the Hamptons as a backdrop for her timeless portraits.  Primarily self-taught, Carol became serious about photography after the birth of her oldest son, now 23 years old.  She was consumed with capturing his unique personality on film (yes, it was film in those days) and began studying photography at every opportunity…through classes at a local college, online courses, hands on workshops with working professionals and by practicing on her friends and family whenever she could. Carol has had the opportunity to study in Tuscany under the direction of National Geographic photographer Raul Touzon and has taken workshops with Joe McNally, the late Monte Zucker, and Sandy Puc.   Eventually, Carol decided to follow her calling and turn her passion into a business, which grew by word of mouth.

Carol’s work hangs prominently in many a discerning home throughout the Hamptons and Manhattan as well as places as far reaching as Spain, England and Vancouver. She has a gift for putting even the shyest of children at ease and is as comfortable rolling around on the grass with a puppy as she is in directing a large multi-generational family group for a formal portrait.

Carol’s other passion lies in traveling around the world, at times with her family in tow and at times solo, spreading health and wellness by introducing people she meets to the doTERRA lifestyle she lives.  Carol documents her adventures from behind the lens and through the written word.
